Our project-based curriculum is focused on studying current artwork and “learning through the lens of living artists”.  This process allows kids to develop an interest in the art of today across all media including painting, drawing, sculpture and more.

ART START

Ages 3-5

Designed for Pre-k students, ages 3-5, to experience art making in a hands-on environment that stimulates creativity and independence. Young artists develop a higher level of critical thinking and problem solving skills through learning about elements of art making and contemporary art.  Diverse projects emphasize basic art making skills and help to build fine motor development.

Art Shuffle®

Grades K-2 | Grades 3-5

Our core art program for K-5 allows students to become well-rounded artists by shuffling projects across a variety of medium and subject matter. Students engage in One River School’s innovative curriculum inspired by contemporary artists that stimulates the imagination and helps students develop essential technical skills in a fun classroom environment.

Designed for K-5 students who want to focus on learning technical skills in a particular medium such as Drawing, Painting, and Cartooning. Kids Digital Art Shuffle™ opens up the world of digital art making by exposing students to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate and Sketchbook Pro to learn the fundamentals tools, layers, and software to make art on a virtual canvas.
