ABOUT THE ARTIST
Adrien Marçais, b. Normandy, France, is an artist living and working in Queens, NY. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, including Spring/Break (New York, NY), AHA Fine Art Gallery (Chelsea, NY), Trends Art Gallery (Queens, NY), Carrack Modern Art (Durham, NC), and The Gildo Pastor (Monaco).
The paintings gathered in Invisible Thread explore what circulates between bodies without being
seen: tension, care, abandonment, dependence, attraction, loss. An invisible force connects them. The figures are shaped as much by what surrounds them as by what they are. Invisible Thread does not depict events. It stages moments where something passes between beings without form or name — a connection that cannot be measured, only felt.
